After you receive your invitation from your school email account to join the Booking & Blogging blog, click on that link.
1. You will need a Google Account. If you already have a Google or gmail account, all you need to do is sign in and accept invitation. If not, click on the Create your account now link.
2. Create a Google Account.
enter your email address (you can use your school email address)
enter a password (can be, but does not have to be the same as your school password). Password must be 8 characters long.
enter a Display name (this is the name that your blog entries will be posted as). First name, last initial works. Don't use your full name. You can use a pen or nickname but be sure to let Ms. Solomon know what it is, so you can be graded. Your display name can be changed so don't spend too much time on this.
type in the word verification letters (this should be easy, since you are all under the age of 40).
check "acceptance of terms" and click Continue.
3. Enter your password and Accept Invitation.
Important:
You must also go back to your email to activate your account and verify your email address, click on the link in your email.
4. Now you are ready to post to this blog.
Click on New Post to enter your own post for your book.
At this point you can also edit Your Profile, add a picture or icon, change your Display name.
5. Enter the Title of your post (book title). Type in your review/summary of your book. Optional: Click on the image icon to add a book cover. You can get book cover images from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Right click on the picture and "save as" on your computer, then upload the image.
You can enter labels for this posting so it is searchable (title of book, genre)
To save: Publish Post. Then View Blog to view your posting.
